Southwest Airlines Funny Flight Attendant Bored Panda
The airport can be a very emotional and precious place for those who travel a lot and have to leave their friends and family behind. But it also is an exciting place marking the start of new experiences and surprises. There are all kinds of journeys, but they all leave something to remember. Especially if we meet someone special along the way.
Having this in mind, Twitter user @KatiHartwig decided to share her encounter with her seatmate who was such an interesting companion that Kati decided to share her hilarious one-liners on her Twitter account. Soon enough, it turned into a wholesome thread of brilliant jokes that this girl sitting next to Kati served through the whole flight.

Kati Hartwig, who is a digital media specialist for Columbus Regional Airport, shared on her Twitter account that on her flight, she was sitting next to a smart 6-year-old girl. The girl warned the woman, saying: "I'm going to talk to you randomly, so you need to be prepared, ok?" According to Kati, this was when she realized she would have "a fantastic flight."
So her tweet turned into a whole thread full of brilliant jokes by this little girl

She wasn't wrong, and soon enough, Kati started sharing these little one-line gems the girl was serving her. This Twitter thread became viral with more than 400K likes and almost 30.5K retweets. This encouraged people online to also share their funny stories that included kids and their witty remarks.
Bored Panda contacted Kati to find out more about this amusing story. She revealed that she was indeed surprised to gain so much attention from this as her initial idea was to share these funny tweets with her friends just "to have a good giggle" with her.

After these tweets, Kati also decided to make two TikTok videos where she presented a little backstory to the whole situation. She mentioned that a lot of people were thinking that this whole thing was fake; however, the woman wanted to prove that she wasn't making this whole thing up.
When asked why she thinks it is so hard for people to believe this whole story to be true, she replied: "I think it's tough for people to believe everything they see on the internet, and with everything being so negative, people find it tough to see things in a different perspective. Honestly, I'm flattered they think I could make up something that funny! But I really do believe that as we grow up, we are jaded, and that causes a lot of doubts, even when things are fun."

Kati shared that even though she first estimated that the girl was 6 years old, later she realized that she was a bit older. The girl was actually going into the 4th grade, so she was at least 8-9 years old. People online were also asking the woman to take a picture of a girl, to prove that she was actually real, to which she answered that under no circumstances would she publicly show someone else's kid.

Kati also revealed that the girl's parents were also on the flight, so she wasn't there by herself, as some may have presumed. However, as stated by the Twitter user, the girl was very engaging and was very excited to hear about Kati's job.
Traveling with kids is not easy, especially, knowing that a lot of other travelers are frustrated with young passengers who tend to make a lot of noise. Maybe the experience that Kati had will make a change in how people see parents traveling with kids? "I sure hope so! Families deserve to travel too, and kids are kids. Giving a little grace in any situation goes a long way. Ask the mom or dad if they need help. Don't scoff. And, listen to kids. They have amazing points of view, especially because they are still learning things for the first time."
